Problem: Skype app is not working on iPhones / iPads running iOS 10. It crashes as soon as you open it.
In fact, on Twitter we see a lot of folks complaining Skype to solve this problem. From what we see, Skype was last updated on 5th of July, 2016.
So the app has been updated but the compatibility issue with iOS 10 hasn’t been considered / fixed by the developers yet.
Any solution? Well, we tried to see if the app is broken on our iPhones. Yep! There was no way we could uncrash Skype. No workaround.
Interestingly, Skype is working fine on iPad Pro. Maybe it was just us?
Also, there is an article on Skype Support (link here) that you can read to stop Skype from crashing. But the basic idea is to see if your Skype app is up-to-date. Then, if the problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling Skype.
This has been already tested. The only answer right now is to wait yet another Skype update. Or tweet them like we did:

Meanwhile, here are some tweets we found regarding Skype and its incompatibility with the new iOS 10 beta 2:
